The Garage

Beautifully complementing the main house, is a two story, Siberian Larch clad garage with upstairs loft area. The building sits at 90 degrees to the house on the south west side, a most unusual aspect. This, coupled with the large deck area, provides a courtyard style setting with easy access to the garage and garden.

The garage is built to the same standards as a quality timberframe structure. It is clad in Siberian larch matching the main house, it is insulated, fully wired with its own fusebox and has internal and external lighting. It has the same high u-value quality larch windows as the main house. The loft has been finished to provide a play/rec area for children or could be used for a variety of purposes.

The ground floor has been subdivided into a garage and tool shed with an internal dividing door. Two hardwood doors entrance the garage and a single hardwood door entrance for the tool shed.

Natural Spanish slate, the same as the main house, is used on the roof. A velux window and cupola with weathervane finishes off the roof detail.
